Internet Explorer
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
Click the Internet Zone.
If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
a. Click Custom Level.
b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.
Chrome
In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
By registering for and participating in the 2023 Children's Healthcare Canada Conference, delegates agree to the following privacy, data collection and utilization terms and conditions. If you do not wish to grant Children's Healthcare Canada these rights, please contact the event organizers at conference@childrenshealthcare.ca at least four (4) weeks before the event.
I irrevocably authorize, consent to, and grant Children's Healthcare Canada the right to:
Compile my contact details into a delegate list that will be used by Children's Healthcare Canada, event organizers and third-party event organizers for the purpose of sponsorship, marketing, communications and other related events consistent with the purpose of the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference;
Maintain my professional information, given at the time of registration, in an electronic file owned by Children's Healthcare Canada, with access limited to those involved in planning the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference and related activities;
Compile information regarding attendance at sessions to review the success and popularity of various sessions and program offerings;
Contact me with respect to further Children's Healthcare Canada conferences, educational activities and program offerings consistent with the purposes of the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference. I am free to withdraw my consent to such communications at any time;
Save, store, compile and distribute my digital engagement and participation by way of Q&As, polls, images created or submitted using the live streaming platform, and other marketing activities during the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference sessions to promote current and future discussions at future Children's Healthcare Canada events;
I have full power to enter this agreement and to provide informed consent regarding its terms. By executing this agreement, I confirm and agree that its terms do not conflict with any existing commitments on my part;
I understand that by attending this event, I enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, I consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or reproduction.
PRIVACY POLICY
Children's Healthcare Canada values your privacy and is committed to ensuring that any information provided to us is used strictly for the purposes identified above. While some of these purposes require the transfer of information to third parties for processing and storage, Children's Healthcare Canada will not disclose, lease, sell or transfer your contact information to any individuals, groups or companies outside of the purposes identified above.
As indicated above, Children's Healthcare Canada reserves the rights to compile, save, use or distribute digital engagement on the streaming platform in the form of photos and videos recorded during the conference. Conference participants, speakers and attendees also grant Children's Healthcare Canada permission to use, reuse, publish, and republish in any format, location or medium at any time such photographs, video recordings, sound recordings taken during the conference. Conference participants, speakers, attendees understand and agree that Children's Healthcare Canada may identify them by name (unless otherwise indicated) in any use or reuse of the audio-visual material recorded during the conference.
Children's Healthcare Canada will not compile, save, use or distribute your digital engagement and participation by way of private chat logs, images and video shared using the networking platform during the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference networking sessions.
