Firefox

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

All Attendees

YES! You can email conference@childrenshealthcarecanada.ca and a member of the Children’s Healthcare Canada team will be happy to assist you.
Both the in-person schedule and virtual schedule will be presented in Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Registration will open in September 2023. An announcement will be made via our social media and SPARK: News so be sure to follow us to stay in the loop!
Registrations will be accepted for both in-person and virtual conference passes until the final day of the event, December 5, 2023. All delegates must be registered online prior to arriving at the conference venue as on-site registration will not be available.
A preliminary program can be found on our program page. Sessions, speakers, and topics will be updated in the program as they are confirmed. Schedule is subject to change at any time.
All conference content will be housed on the Children’s Healthcare Canada conference website and mobile app for 6 months following the live event.
Access to the conference website and mobile app will be granted no later than 1 week prior to the event. You can build your personalized schedule at that time.
Yes, there are many sponsorship opportunities when it comes to our 2023 Annual Conference! Please view our Sponsorship Prospectus here, click on the ‘Sponsor Now’ button, and fill out the Sponsorship Form in the Prospectus to get started.
Cancellation for any reason must be received via email at conference@childrenshealthcarecanada.ca by November 1, 2023 to generate a refund, and a $150 administrative charge will be deducted. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after this date. Student registration refunds will be charged a $50 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for social events after November 1, 2023.

 

In-Person Attendees

The health and safety of our attendees is our top priority. We have been working diligently to return to in-person meetings safely, including ongoing consultation regarding provincial and regional public health guidelines in Vancouver in December.

We strongly encourage all attendees to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 should they plan to attend in person.

As an added layer of preparedness, the Children's Healthcare Canada Conference Team has taken part in a Pandemic On-Site Protocol course and are certified in monitoring and maintaining a safe environment for all during events.
Yes, you will have the same access as all virtual event attendees. Therefore, you can chat with them via our conference website, and you can tune into virtual sessions from your hotel room if you wish.
Accessibility is important to us. Reach out to us at conference@childrenshealthcarecanada.ca with any specific accessibility needs or questions.
You can specify any dietary restrictions during the registration process. If there is anything else we should know, please feel free to contact conference@childrenshealthcarecanada.ca.

Virtual Attendees

Most computers/tablets/mobile devices are compatible with the virtual platform. Make sure your operating system is up to date, your battery is charged, and you have a good wi-fi/data connection.
Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to navigate away from the page anytime during the live event if needed. You may need to log back upon your return.
Yes! Ask questions and engage in the ongoing discussion during all the presentations. Speakers, moderators, and other delegates will be responding in real-time.
All our main stage sessions are being recorded and will be available to re-watch the week after the live event. You will receive an email after the conference with more detailed instructions on how to view the recordings.
