Add a Coupon Code
To add a Coupon Code to your event:
On the left side master menu click on the following:
- {Project} {Finance} {Coupons} {+ New Coupon}
- Coupon Code and Coupon Name should be the same
- Start & End Dates - If you would like the coupon to only be active for a certain period of time you can add a start and end date. If not you can leave the fields blank.
- Maximum Allowable is how many coupons will be available for registers to use
- Calculation Type:
- Dollar - will be deducted from ticket total (ex. 3.00 will take $3.00 off the ticket total)
- Percentage - will apply the percentage off of the ticket total amount (ex 30% off will be taken off the ticket total)
- Rate - Will completely replace whatever the rate is on the normal registration
- Basic Amount - Put basic amount with only digits no characters (i.e. do not put a $ or % symbol)
- Apply tax to the discount amount? The default option is Yes with tax being applied to the discount.
- Coupon combined with other coupons - click yes if you will have multiple coupons available for your registrants
- Coupon applicable for returning registrant - if yes coupon will be reapplied if any payable item is added, if no coupon will only be available for a one time registration
- Discount available for group registration, specify the number of registrants
- If discount is to be limited to a certain number of registrants you can enter the number below. Once reached they coupon code will no longer be valid.
- Apple discount according to: either the subtotal or the registration order. This must be done if you have added a minimum or limited number of registrants.
- Do you want to apply this coupon automatically? Yes or No
- Usage Type:
- General (Apply to all) will allow the coupon to be applied to all registration types
- Specific - If chosen it will compile a listing of the registration types with checkboxes. You can check off specific types that the coupon can be applied towards. (Ex. Member, Non-Member,"
- Click Save
