Cheque payments are due 2 weeks following registration and 1 month prior to the event.
The online registration system will close at 9:00 AM EST on October 30, 2023. Space permitting, onsite registration will be available at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel, 123 Queen St W, Toronto starting at 3:00 pm.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be notified in writing to Conferences Services conferences@uhn.ca. Cancellations made by September 21, 2023 will result in a full refund less a $200 administration costs ($75 for students). As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person until October 19, 2023 without incurring any cost penalty. Conference Services must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers. No refunds will be issued after September 21, 2023. Refunds will not be granted to attendees who do not attend the conference. The Canadian Conference on Dementia and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organizers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Canadian Conference on Dementia and Conference Services do not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
We do not issue letters of invitation to international delegates. Administrative fees will apply to cancelled registrations.
