Registration will open soon! The charts and information below are provided to help you plan your registration in advance.
If more than one person from your co-op plans to attend, it is important to decide who will register first, as that person will serve as the voting delegate for the National Business Meeting.
For planning purposes, you will be asked to indicate which parts of the program you expect to attend, including workshop selections, the Opening Reception and Awards, the Local Social, and your regional meeting. Please indicate your anticipated attendance to the best of your ability. Details about workshops and other activities will be posted on the program page as they become available.
Early Bird pricing is available—register by April 10 to save.
Registration Fees
If you register for the Member Education Forum (MEF) or the Co-operative Management Conference (CMC), you will automatically receive access to the Annual Business Meeting on Saturday, June 13.

Young member discounts
All co-op members or staff 35 years of age or under are eligible for 30% off any full registration type. This discount will be automatically applied when registering.
Discounts for smaller co-ops
If your co-op has 50 units or fewer, there are ways we can help make your Annual Meeting experience more affordable.
Registration: We know that small co-ops have to spread the registration fee over fewer units. To make attendance more affordable, we’re giving a 30% on any registration type for small co-ops (1–50 units).
This discount will be automatically applied when registering.
Travel pool
Co-ops that pay more than $975 for their delegate’s refundable airfare (round trip, after taxes) to the Annual Meeting can get money back from the pool.

- Co-ops with 26 to 50 units are refunded the difference between $975 and the cost of a refundable ticket or actual cost (whichever is less).
- Co-ops with more than 50 units that pay more than $975 will get half of the difference between $975 and the cost of an economy ticket.

How do I find out more about workshops?
Head to the program page where workshop details are posted as they become available.
What is the difference between CMC and MEF?
Co-operative Management Conference (CMC): Workshops and events available only to co-op staff and management.
Member Education Forum (MEF): Workshops and events designed for co-op members. Co-op staff and managers may also attend these workshops.
How do I register more than one person from my co-op? Do we have to register all at once?
It is recommended that each person register themselves individually. However, if you are registering more than one person from your co-op, you will need to register each of them separately.
When you complete the first registration, you will see a button to “Register another” participant.
If, at a later date, you would like to register more members from your co-op or organization, you can do so. The system will recognize your history when the next person is registered.
If you are registering someone else besides yourself, please answer all questions as accurately as possible on their behalf. Ideally individuals would register themselves.
Each participant registered from your co-op or organization must have a unique email address.
Do I have to register for my workshop at the same time as I register for the Annual Meeting?
We encourage you to select your workshops when you register to ensure you get your top picks. You can choose them at a later date, but as they fill up quickly, you may lose access to your top choices.
I've already registered – how do I add or change my workshops?
Reach out to registration@chfcanada.coop for a link to access your registration.
What is the local charity donation?
Each year we collect donations to support an organization that is local to the area where the Annual Meeting is being held.
This year's charity is The Shelters. Fredericton Homeless Shelters Inc., founded in 1982, has grown from a single co-ed shelter into multiple shelters and transitional housing units, supporting over 12,000 people on their path toward stability and housing. With compassionate, skilled staff, the organization provides hope and practical support, helping individuals rebuild their lives one person at a time. More information: https://www.theshelters.ca/about-us/
How are roles at the National Business Meeting determined?
If your co-op is a voting member of CHF Canada, you must first register a Delegate before you can register additional attendees in other registration types.
If you are unable to select the Delegate or Alternate option, it means someone from your co-op or organization may have already registered in that role (limit of one Delegate and Alternate per co-op or organization).
How do I make changes to my registration?
The deadline for changing your registration or aspects of your registration by email or phone is May 20. After this date, all changes will have to be made on site at the Conference Services at the Fredericton Convention Center.
The cancellation date to receive a refund minus a $25 admin fee is June 1, 2025. All cancellations must be received by the Registrar in writing.
What does Virtual Attendance for the National Business Meeting Only entail?
This option provides the ability to vote and participate online as your co-op’s delegate in the Annual Business Meeting, taking place from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 14.
Attendees will be able to watch a livestream of the business meeting, vote, and ask questions online. This option does not include access to any other events of the Annual Meeting.
If your co-op registers a Virtual Delegate, they will not be able to register a second Delegate to vote on site, and vice-versa.
If you want to see what your carbon emission savings would be with this option, click here.
Can I cancel my registration?
The cancellation date to receive a refund minus a $25 admin fee is June 1, 2026. All cancellations must be received by the Registrar in writing.
In the event that CHF Canada has to cancel the 2026 Annual Meeting due to a public health emergency, extreme weather event, or other risk, refunds will be provided in full.
