ISLAND LIGHTHOUSES, WINERY & BREWERY LUNCH TOUR

As an Island, lighthouses have been critical to the safety of mariners making their way up the Atlantic coast. These beacons dot the shoreline and this tour will take you on a guided scenic drive to three of the oldest lighthouses on Prince Edward Island.

Point Prim lighthouse was the first lighthouse built on the Island. Constructed in 1845, it is also the only brick lighthouse. The Wood Islands lighthouse started guiding ships in 1876, making it the second oldest lighthouse with an attached dwelling for the keeper and his family.

Prince Edward Island is gradually becoming known for its wine production and you'll stop at Rossignol Winery, the Island’s oldest vineyard for a tour and sampling of their award-winning product.

Then you’ll visit one of the Island’s newest craft breweries and recently named Atlantic Canada’s Best Brewery. Lunch will be at Bogside Brewery & Restaurant in Montague where you’ll have your choice of beers and enjoy a delicious lunch before heading back to Charlottetown.

Lunch will include a selection of: 1 piece fish and chips; Brisket and choice of side; Half rack of ribs and choice of side; Caesar Wrap (chicken or vegan crumble) and choice of side; Slow smoked chicken and choice of side; Large fresh salad - Mixed greens, dried cranberries, parmesan, red onion, and walnuts; Sides choices- fries or fresh salad

SHINING WATERS FAMILY FUN PARK

Shining Waters Family Fun Park is a water park located in Cavendish, PEI. Explore 36 acres of family fun including over 40 wet and dry attractions. For a start, try the Surf’s Up Surf Coaster, or the Buccaneer Bay Bullet rollercoaster.

Take a plunge down the amazing Cannonbowl! Enjoy the spills and thrills of the Crossbow or take a speedy ride down one of our two body slides. Afterwards, take the plunge down one of our four large waterslides.

For smaller kids, there’s the Turtle Cove Splashpad play area with three junior slides the Turtle Twister and the Slippery Salamander slide. In addition, there is Storybook Land, which is in the centre of the park and features a winding trail through the woods with the scary witch’s cave, many fantasy animals hiding in and around the trees, and Anne’s House of Imagination. Swings, slides and lots of playground equipment and the family favourite tire swing. Then catch a ride on the Cavendish 500 or Lenny’s Boats or take a spin on the Crazy Sub!

The Shining Waters adventure will include a lunch voucher from the take-out restaurant (chicken strips, poutine, hot dogs, etc.).
