Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 


Welcome to the 4th International Family Integrated (FICare) conference, a multidisciplinary event, supporting the implementation and sustainability of Family Integrated Care. This is an exciting year as it marks 10 years of FICare research in Canada.

Conference Co-Chairs

Dr. Shoo Lee: Over his forty-year career Dr. Lee has transformed the field of neonatology, improving the outcome of infants born preterm. He revolutionized the care of newborns by leading and promoting research that has shifted the paradigm for parents by embracing and empowering them to become integrated into the care of their infant; care partners. This renowned work continues to be disseminated and implemented worldwide.
Dr. Karel O'Brien: Dr. O’Brien is a Staff Neonatologist and lead family integrated care researcher at Mount Sinai hospital, Toronto, who continues to promote the importance of parent engagement in the care of their infants while in the NICU and supports ongoing research and knowledge translation initiatives worldwide.
