Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

Event Venue (Research Day)

The information below applies to Research Day only. Education Day will be provided virtually.

Ajmera Transplant Centre (Main Event)

The Ajmera Transplant Centre is located on the 9th floor of the MaRS building (Room 9006); however, access is restricted. Instead, please access the Centre by following these steps:

Onsite capacity is limited so be sure to register early to avoid disappointment.

  • Take the Peter Munk elevators in Toronto General Hospital to the 12th floor.
  • Turn left when you exit the elevator and walk toward the "Diabetes/ Endocrinology" clinic.
  • Enter through the first door on the left that says "Transplant Innovation Centre". (There is a badge reader but no card is needed until after 5:00 pm.)
  • Walk straight ahead and take the 2nd left down the hallway following signs for the "Transplant Innovation Centre".
  • You will see the glass doors to the MaRS bridge on the right.
  • Registration tables will be set up on the MaRS bridge and someone will escort you to the Ajmera Transplant Centre conference room from there.

Paul B. Helliwell Centre for Medical Education (Posters)

Important Update: New Location & Time for Poster Sessions

Please note that there has been a change to both the location and the schedule for the poster sessions.

New Location:
The poster sessions have moved from the DeGasperis Pavilion to the Helliwell Centre.

Schedule Update:
We will no longer hold poster viewing during lunch. Instead, poster viewing will take place exclusively at 3:30 PM during the Wine & Cheese reception.

  • Located in the Eaton Building, Ground Floor, just inside the Elizabeth Street entrance of Toronto General Hospital beside the Information Desk
  • To the left of the Information Desk, enter through the doors marked “Medical Education”
  • After passing through the second set of doors, make a left and all the way down the corridor is room GEN025/GEN026
