Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

Dr. Amir Khoshbin

Dr. Amir Khoshbin specializes in adult reconstructive surgery of the hip and knee, including minimally invasive Direct Anterior Hip Arthroplasty (DAA), primary & revision joint replacements, and complex lower extremity trauma.

He attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate and medical education. Dr. Khoshbin completed his residency at the University of Toronto, where he was part of the Surgeon Scientist Program and received his Master of Science in clinical epidemiology.

After residency, Dr. Khoshbin completed an Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) fellowship in Trauma at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. Thereafter, he completed a second fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Dr. Jesse Wolfstadt received his MD from the University of Toronto in 2011, completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at U of T in 2016, and graduated in 2017 with a Master’s Degree in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Institute for Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation (IHPME). He completed fellowships in complex adult lower extremity reconstruction (Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada), traumatology and arthroplasty (St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, Canada), and traumatology (Auckland City Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand). His clinical focus is on complex primary and revision total knee replacement and primary total hip replacement, as well as trauma surgery and outpatient total joint replacement.

Michael Zywiel

Dr. Michael Zywiel

After finishing his medical education at the Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland, Michael completed a clinical research fellowship in Baltimore, Maryland under the mentorship of Michael A. Mont. He then returned to his hometown of Toronto and joined the UofT orthopaedic residency program. While a resident, he participated in the Surgeon Scientist Program and completed his Masters of Science degree in Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.

After finishing his residency in 2016, Michael went south to Austin, Texas, where he was the inaugural Joseph Miles Abell Jr. Fellow in Arthroplasty and Value-Based Health Care Delivery at the Dell Medical School. He then returned to Toronto and recently completed a six-month fellowship in Lower Extremity Reconstruction and Trauma at St Michael’s Hospital.

Dr. Zywiel is currently an Assistant Professor and Surgeon Investigator at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network, with clinical interest in hip and knee pain, surgical interest in hip and knee replacement, and academic interests in health services, outcomes, and health care economics research.
