Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

Keynote Speaker

Dr. Steven J. MacDonald

Dr. Steven J. MacDonald is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada.

He is a native of London, Ontario and received his undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then received his medical degree from the University of Toronto. His orthopaedic residency training was at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. Further training as an adult reconstructive clinical fellow was obtained in Chicago, Illinois and in Bern, Switzerland.

Dr. MacDonald has won many awards including, twice the John Charnley award from the Hip Society, the Frank Stinchfield award from the Hip Society, the John Insall Award from the Knee Society, the Mark Coventry award from the Knee Society and the Founders Medal from the Canadian Orthopaedic Research Society.

Dr. MacDonald is a member and leader of multiple Orthopaedic organizations including the North American Hip Society, the International Hip Society and the North American Knee Society. Dr. MacDonald has served as President of the North American Knee Society and the Canadian Arthroplasty Society and is in the Presidential line of the North American Hip Society and the International Hip Society.

Dr. MacDonald is an internationally recognized thought leader in the field of hip and knee replacements. He has been a member of over 30 awarded research grants for hip and knee replacement projects totaling over 5 million dollars. He has published over 225 papers and book chapters in research journals in the field of hip and knee surgery. He has lectured at over 300 national and international meetings.
