Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

Instructors

Karen Brunton PT, C/NDT is a Physical Therapist with over 35 years of experience working with clients with neurological impairments in acute, rehabilitation, long term care and outpatient settings. Karen has been an NDTA™ Adult Course Coordinator Instructor since 1991, Advanced Course Instructor since 1996 and an instructor with the International Bobath Instructors Training Association (IBITA) from 1997 to 2018. She holds an adjunct lecturer appointment with the Department of Physical Therapy, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Karen has taught NDTA™ Certificate and Advanced courses internationally and extensively throughout North America (Canada, United States and Mexico). She has presented on various topics at NDTA™ National Conference, Ontario Physiotherapy Conference and Canadian Physiotherapy Congress. Additionally, Karen has served on many committees within the NDTA™ Instructors’ Group and on the NDTA™ Board of Directors.

Karen Guha B.Sc. PT, C/NDT is a Physiotherapist in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. She works at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener and treats private clients at Back Works Spinal and Sports Rehabilitation in Waterloo. She graduated from the University of Toronto, in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She completed her NDT Certificate course in 1999 and has taken numerous other Advanced NDT courses. Karen began teaching as an NDTA™ Instructor Candidate in 2002 and completed her training to become a PT Instructor in 2007. Karen became a NDTA™ Coordinator Instructor in 2011. She has taught introductory, intermediate, advanced and certificate NDT courses in Canada, the United States, South America, Asia and Europe. She has 19 years experience working with adults with neurological impairments in acute, rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.

J. Lyndelle Owens, MCD, CCC-SLP earned her masters degree from the University Oklahoma Medical Center. Since graduation, she has a vast amount of clinical experience in various rehabilitation centers, individual and group settings for infants, children and adults with neuromotor dysfunctions. Her professional career has included work at Children's Hospital in Boston; LSU Medical Center in New Orleans; Michael Reese Hospital and other centers in Metropolitan Chicago area for 14 years; Private practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 12 years while serving as adjunct faculty of University of Oklahoma, Tulsa Medical College. Experience includes ten years in Albuquerque, NM. with Presbyterian Healthcare Services. In 2006, she moved to Dallas, Texas with employment at Texas Health Resources, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She is an NDTA (Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association) basic and advanced course Speech Instructor for the Adult certificate courses. Her extensive educational training and professional experience combined with her enthusiasm for her field has lead her to present numerous workshops nationally and internationally.

Sherry Rock OT Reg.(Ont) is an Occupational Therapist who works at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener Ontario. She holds a Masters of Clinical Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. She has over 15 years of experience working with clients with stroke and other neurological diagnoses in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Shery completed her NDT Certificate Course in 2005 and has taken numerous NDTA™ Advanced courses as well as various cognitive and perceptual courses related to acquired brain injury. Sherry began teaching as an NDTA™ Occupational Therapy instructor candidate in 2009 and qualified as an NDTA™ OT Instructor in 2018. She has taught on many introductory, intermediate and NDTA™ Certificate courses as well as presented on topics related to cognition and perception at conferences in Ontario.
