NCLP 2026: Evidence, Ethics and the Administration of Justice
The 2026 National Criminal Law Program brings together leaders in Criminal Law from across Canada for a week of in-depth education focused on emerging issues and enduring challenges in evidence, ethics, and the administration of justice. The program, featured in detail below, includes plenaries, debates, demonstrations, and concurrent workshops, offering practical and relevant learning for both new and experienced practitioners. This session is intended for those with no or limited litigation or judicial experience with DOAs. The session will provide a basic primer on procedure and the governing legal framework.

Located on Charlottetown’s historic waterfront and walking distance from the Delta, Peake’s Quay offers panoramic harbour views and a relaxed East Coast atmosphere. Join colleagues for a plated three-course dinner featuring locally inspired cuisine, including a traditional Prince Edward Island lobster dinner. Wine will be served during dinner, with a cash bar available throughout the evening. Live traditional music will be offered before dinner, followed by a DJ.
Arrival at 6:30 pm. Dinner service begins at 7:15 pm.; Cost: $135 + tax per person.
