Call for Abstracts
You are invited to submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at the 10th Annual Concussion Research Symposium entitled Update on Research and Care for the Concussion Spectrum of Disorders hosted by the Canadian Concussion Centre at The Krembil Brain Institute, Toronto Western Hospital on April 21, 2023.
This year conference themes are:
- Prevention of Concussions and its Consequences (Persisting Concussion Symptoms and CTE)
- Detection of Concussions and Prediction of Outcomes (Biomarkers)
Research topics for presentation include clinical or experimental projects on Mechanisms of Concussion (e.g. Sports and Recreation, Motor Vehicle Crashes, Falls in elderly, Work-Related Injury, Intimate Partner Violence), Biomarkers, Concussion Policy, Effect of Concussions in Family, Friends, and Caregivers.
Format: Structured abstract of 250 words or less with title, presenter(s) (without degrees), and the following headings: Background, Objective(s), Methods, Results, and Conclusions. Selected abstracts will be published in the program and posted on our website after the conference.

Conference Concussion Public Forum on Thursday, April 20, 2023: In association with the 10th Annual Concussion Research Symposium, there will be a public forum entitled Concussions and their Effects on Caregivers, Family, Friends and Colleagues.
