Program and Agenda
Ontario’s primary care system is under a spotlight — and finally, under serious consideration. Investments are coming. Expectations are rising. And the window to shape what's next is wide open.
The Power of Primary Care is where leaders, providers, and partners come together not just to share what’s working — but to actively shape what should come next. This year’s conference isn’t about passive learning. It’s about bold conversation, cross-sector collaboration, and co-designing the primary care system we need for the future.

We received so many outstanding abstracts this year and we’re currently picking the cream of the crop to build a program that’s timely, relevant, and inspiring. While we’re still finalizing the full conference program, we’re excited to share a first look at some of the sessions that will shape this year’s conversations. These sessions reflect the innovation, collaboration, and leadership happening across Ontario’s primary care teams:
- Examining Team Composition and Patient Complexity: Explore how team structure and role clarity can improve care for patients with complex needs.
- Dyad Leadership and Engagement: Learn how clinical and administrative leaders are partnering to drive system change and shared accountability.
- Multi-Team Quality Improvement Collaborations: See how cross-team partnerships are accelerating innovation and improving outcomes.
- Smarter Cancer Screening: Discover strategies that are making screening more equitable, efficient, and patient-centered.
- Trauma-Informed Care: Understand how organizations are embedding trauma-informed principles into everyday practice to improve safety and trust.
More sessions and speakers will be announced soon. In the meantime, register to secure your spot and be the first to receive program updates.
