How do I find out more about workshops?
Click Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada - AGM -
What is the difference between a CMC and MEF?
Co-operative Management Conference (CMC): Workshops and events available only to co-op staff and management.
Member Education Forum (MEF): Workshops and events designed for co-op members. Co-op staff and managers may also attend these workshops. -
How do I register more than one person from my co-op? Do we have to
register all at once?
If you are registering more than one person from your co-op, you will need to register each of them separately. When you complete the first registration, you will see a button to “Register another” participant.
If, at a later date, you would like to register more members from your co-op or organization, you can do so. The system will recognize your history when the next person is registered.
If you are registering someone else besides yourself, please answer all questions as accurately as possible on their behalf.
Each participant registered from your co-op or organization must have a unique email address. -
Do I have to register for my workshop at the same time as I register
for the Annual Meeting generally? Can I add those choices later?
We encourage you to select your workshops when you register to ensure you get your top picks. You can choose them at a later date, but as they fill up quickly, you may lose access to your top choices. -
I've already registered - how do I add my workshops or change my
workshops?
Reach out to registration@chfcanada.coop for a link to access your registration -
How are roles at the National Business Meeting determined?
If your co-op is a voting member of CHF Canada, you must first register a Delegate before you can register additional attendees in other registration types.
If you are unable to select the Delegate or Alternate option, it means someone from your co-op/organization may have already registered in that role (limit of one Delegate and Alternate per co-op/organization). -
How do I make changes to my registration?
The deadline for changing your registration or aspects of your registration by email or phone is May 20. After this date, all changes will have to be made on site at the Conference Services at the Delta Hotel. -
What does Virtual Attendance for the National Business Meeting Only
entail?
To help encourage greater accessibility and reduce carbon emissions, we are offering co-ops the opportunity to register virtually. This option provides you with the ability to vote and participate online as your co-op’s delegate in the Annual Business Meeting, taking place from 10:30 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 14. Attendees will be able to watch a livestream of the business-meeting, vote, and ask questions online. This option does not include access to any other events of the Annual Meeting. If your co-op registers a Virtual Delegate, they will not be able to register a second Delegate to vote on site, and vice-versa.
If you want to see what your carbon emission savings would be with this option, click here.
