CanREA Anti-Discrimination and Harassment Policy
Anti-trust guidelines
CanREA provides an opportunity
for its members and any guests participating in any official CanREA meeting
or event to convene and share non-competitively sensitive information in a
manner that is consistent with the Competition Act in order to advance the
responsible and sustainable deployment of wind energy, solar energy, and
energy storage in Canada.
Contraventions of the Competition Act may occur even where there is no formal agreement between competitors, but an agreement can be inferred from anti-competitive behaviour including the sharing of competitively sensitive information. Examples of criminal anti-competitive behaviour include discussions related to price fixing, bid rigging, customer allocation, territorial market allocation, wage-fixing, or group boycotts.
A violation of these terms and conditions may result in CanREA's revocation of the Participant's rights and privileges including denial of access to events and removal from event premises.
