Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

By Car

  • From the USA
    • There are four main border crossings into Canada: the Peace Bridge, Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, Rainbow Bridge (which leads directly into Niagara Falls), and the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor. A toll fee is required at each crossing and must be paid in cash.

By Plane

  1. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) Location: Toronto, ON (~1.5 hours drive to Niagara Falls)
    Best for: Most international and domestic travelers
    Pros: Major international hub with many direct flights
    Things to Consider: Busy and can be slow for customs; longer drive
  2. Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) Location: Buffalo, NY, USA (~45 minutes drive to Niagara Falls, ON)
    Best for: U.S. travelers
    Pros: Closer than Toronto; smaller and easier to navigate
    Things to Consider: Requires crossing the U.S.–Canada border (passport & possible customs delays)
    Buffalo airport shuttle
  3. Niagara Falls International Airport (IAG) Location: Niagara Falls, NY, USA (~30 minutes or less depending on the bridge)
    Best for: Budget U.S. travelers (limited routes via carriers like Allegiant)
    Things to Consider: Very limited flight options and border crossing required
  4. Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) Location: Downtown Toronto (~2 hours with traffic)
    Best for: Domestic flights within Canada (e.g., from Ottawa, Montreal)
    Pros: Smaller and more convenient than Pearson if flying from nearby cities
    Things to Consider: Longer drive to Niagara Falls
  5. Hamilton International Airport (YHM) Location: Hamilton, ON (~1 hour drive)
    Best for: Some domestic and budget flights (e.g., WestJet, Swoop)
    Pros: Small, efficient airport
