Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

We are inviting women in STEM from all Government of Canada science-based departments and agencies across the country to present a poster at the Celebrating the Success of Women in STEM Symposium: Turning Challenges into Opportunities.
Your participation will help showcase research excellence of women working in science and innovation. It will also allow us to celebrate the successes of women in STEM, in spite of the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

E-poster requirements

  • The e-poster must be a PDF file, maximum 25MB.
  • Translation is required for the e-poster title and abstract, only. The e-poster can be presented in the official language of your choice.
  • The abstract has a 200 word maximum.
  • Approval, from the appropriate authority, to share your research will be required.
  • Please use the designated scientific research template, according to your department's requirements.

Upcoming deadlines

  • February 2: Early bird deadline for registering to present a poster (below) and uploading content. Translation is required for poster title and abstract. Poster can be presented in the language of your choice.
  • February 10, noon: Final deadline for registering to present a poster and uploading content.
