Zoom Events

This event will be hosted on Zoom Events. But what is Zoom Events, and how does it differ from a standard Zoom meeting?

In simple terms, a standard Zoom meeting is designed for a single session, whereas Zoom Events functions as a comprehensive virtual conference platform. It integrates multiple components—webinars, live sessions, breakout discussions, and sponsor exhibition spaces—within a single, unified interface.

Participants will access the conference through a single link. Upon entry, they will arrive in a virtual lobby, which serves as the central navigation hub for the event. From the lobby, attendees can seamlessly move between sessions and conference features using the top navigation bar.

The lobby provides an overview of the conference at a glance, including featured and upcoming sessions, with a live chat function available on the right-hand side. The main navigation areas include:

Sessions – Access live presentations and scheduled scientific sessions

Itinerary – Create and manage a personalized conference agenda

Sponsors – View information about conference sponsors

Exhibits – Visit virtual sponsor booths, where attendees may engage with representatives and access supplementary materials such as downloadable PDFs, videos, and images

Speakers – View speaker profiles and presentation details

Zoom Events provides an integrated conference experience that extends beyond a traditional virtual meeting format, enabling streamlined navigation, enhanced engagement, and centralized access to all conference content and activities.
