Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

Thursday, June 5th Research Day

This day is is designed for Physicians, Surgeons, Scientists, Nurses, Nurse practitioners, Physician assistants, Pharmacists and Allied health professionals interested in basic, translational and clinical transplant research at Ajmera Transplant Centre.

Friday, June 6th Education Day

The Ajmera Transplant Centre’s Annual Education Conference is a comprehensive program designed to deliver the latest updates and advancements in the care of solid-organ transplant patients. Education Day offers a dynamic platform tailored to the needs of primary care physicians, specialists, surgeons, fellows, residents, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and allied health professionals actively involved in the management of pre- and post-transplant patients within the community.

Key highlights:

  1. Enhancing Understanding of the Living Donor Journey.
    Explore the perspectives of both transplant recipients and living donors.
    Discuss long-term outcomes, including medical, psychosocial, and quality-of-life considerations.
  2. Optimizing Multidisciplinary Care for Transplant Recipients
    Define the role of general practitioners in long-term post-transplant management.
    Clarify the role of emergency physicians in managing complications and urgent care for transplant recipients.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to apply knowledge of the living donor transplant journey, including long-term medical and psychosocial outcomes to improve post-transplant patient care.
  2. Participants will be able to outline the optimal management of pre-transplant patients in the community, involving collaboration between family doctors and specialists, and allied health professionals.
  3. Participants will be able to implement effective post-transplant patient care strategies in the community, incorporating the roles of family doctors, specialists, including pediatric care teams to optimize outcomes.
