Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

Thursday, June 13th Education Day

The Ajmera Transplant Centre’s Annual Education Conference is a comprehensive virtual program designed to deliver the latest updates and advancements in the care of solid-organ transplant patients. Education Day offers a dynamic platform tailored to the needs of primary care physicians, specialists, surgeons, fellows, residents, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and allied health professionals actively involved in the management of pre- and post-transplant patients within the community.

Key highlights include:

  1. Cutting edge updates: Includes the latest developments in solid-organ transplant care. Our program features expert-led sessions covering a wide range of topics, including innovative therapies, surgical techniques, immunosuppressive protocols, and emerging trends in transplant medicine.
  2. Interactive Learning: We will facilitate interactive discussions and case studies, designed to enhance learning and promote knowledge exchange. Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions to expert faculty, participate in live polls, and solve clinical challenges.
  3. Networking Opportunities: Participants will be able to connect with fellow healthcare professionals, exchange insights, and foster collaborations that transcend geographical boundaries.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will be able to explain the principles of organ donation, emphasizing informed consent and strategies to expand the donor pool.
  2. Participants will be able to outline the optimal management of pre-transplant patients in the community, involving collaboration between family doctors and specialists, including palliative care teams.
  3. Participants will be able to implement effective post-transplant patient care strategies in the community, incorporating the roles of family doctors, specialists, and pharmacists to optimize outcomes and medication management.

Friday, June 14th Research Day

Friday, June 14th will be delivered as a hybrid event from the Ajmera Transplant Centre. This day is is designed for Physicians, Surgeons, Scientists, Nurses, Nurse practitioners, Physician assistants, Pharmacists and Allied health professionals interested in the basic science, clinical and research aspects of transplantation at Ajmera Transplant Centre.
