Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.
  3. Set it to true by right-clicking and pressing toggle.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

Introducing The Ascent – CAMRT-AB’s Provincial Education Conference for MRTs

The Ascent will be held on October 3, 2026 in Edmonton, AB at The DoubleTree by Hilton West Edmonton. Join us for the Awards Ceremony at lunch. Those who register for any in-person pass have this included in their ticket price, we just ask you to indicate if you will attend for planning purposes.

Registration Policies

If you registered as a member or a student member, but your CAMRT membership status cannot be verified, your registration will be cancelled, you will be refunded and you will have to re-register at the non-member rate. This will be communicated to you prior to cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to participate in the event after registering, the following cancellation policy applies for all pass types:

  • Full refund until August 28th, 2026, less $25 administration fee
  • 50% refund between August 29th and September 25, 2026, less $25 administration fee
  • No refunds after September 25th, 2026
  • Substitutions are permitted until September 25th, 2026
  • Changes and cancellations cannot be made online. Requests must be emailed to events@camrt.ca
  • Refunds will be processed after the conference
  • Awards tickets are non-refundable
