Firefox

  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

Program Agenda

A three course meal will be served throughout the evening.

The 2025 University of Toronto Summer CME Evening will focus on TB infection and the latest in asthma research. The program will update the knowledge of physicians involved in the assessment, testing and treatment of patients with asthma and TB. Emphasis will be placed on audience participation.

TB Diagnosis/Management: A Case Based Review

After the session on TB infections, participants will be prepared to review genotypic/phenotypic DST and how to approach discordance. Participants will be prepared to discuss the relevance of delayed sputum culture conversion and how to manage treatment in this context. Participants will be prepared to review subclinical TB and the diagnostic approach to these cases.

Asthma-Related Research – Key Papers from the Last Twelve Months

After the session on Asthma research, participants will be able to cite/name the most important clinical research in asthma over the past twelve months. Participants will be able to apply potential new therapies for the treatment of asthma. Participants will be able to integrate this new information into their management approach of asthma patients.
