Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

A three course meal will be served throughout the evening.

The 2024 University of Toronto Summer CME Evening will focus on asthma and non-tuberculosis mycobacterial (NTM) pulmonary infections. The program will update the knowledge of physicians involved in the assessment, testing and treatment of patients with asthma and NTM. Emphasis will be placed on audience participation.

Dilemmas in NTM Lung Infection Management, an Interactive Case-Based Review

After the sessions on NTM lung infection, participants will be prepared to discuss treatment options with their patients who have been diagnosed with a NTM lung infection and to propose alternative treatment regimens to their patients who are not responding to, or intolerant of, first-line therapy.

Asthma-Related Research – Key Papers from the Last Twelve Months

After the session on asthma research, participants will be aware of the most important clinical research in asthma over the past twelve months as well as potential new therapies for the treatment of asthma. Participants will learn how to integrate this new information into their management approach of asthma patients.
