Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.
  2. Look for the javascript.enabled setting.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

A three course meal will be served throughout the evening.

The Summer CME Evening will focus pleural diseases and asthma. The session on pleural diseases will update physicians involved in the assessment and management of patients with pleural diseases. The session on Asthma will update physicians on the latest important clinical research in asthma and how to apply these results to patient care. Emphasis will be placed on audience participation.

i) After the session on Pleural Diseases, participants will be able to investigate and diagnose patients with pleural effusion using evidence-based best practices. Participants will be updated on interventional approaches to managing pleural effusions and be aware of common pitfalls encountered when managing these patients.

ii) After the session on Asthma research, participants will be aware of the most important clinical research in asthma over the past twelve months. Participants will be aware of potential new therapies for the treatment of asthma. Participants will learn how to integrate this new information into their management approach of asthma patients.
