Susan is the Ultrasound Clinical Content Specialist for Prenatal Screening Ontario (PSO) and the Better Outcomes & Registry Network (BORN) and coordinates the Nuchal Translucency Quality Assurance (NTQA) program. She is also a DMS Instructor at CNIH in Ottawa and an assessor for Accreditation Canada. She has been a sonographer for more than 30 years and has worked in both hospital and clinical settings.

As the Executive Director of Sonography Canada since 2017, Susan Clarke brings extensive and well-rounded business and operational experience in public, private and not-for-profit sectors. After a diverse career in the high technology industry, she went on to hold senior positions in professional associations, largely related to health care. Her experience in these organizations plus business background position her well to lead Sonography Canada as it navigates the changing health care environment.

30 years ago , Amber Javaid started her carrier in Middle east with her Husband and 3 kids.

She has worked throughout the world in Middle East, Pakistan and UK with a broad experience of Hospital and Clinic life in both Underprivileged and Developed countries. She has participated in lots of Community social activities and Fund-raising projects.

Moved to Canada about 16 years ago and working with Central Alberta Medical Imaging Services since then. Started as a Sonographer and became Education Development DI manager within 3 years of job.

Has presented in Many conferences internationally and in Canada including ADSA and Sonocon.

Dr. Amer Johri is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. He completed his Level III Echo fellowship at Harvard University, Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Johri has served on the Boards of the American Society of Echocardiography and Canadian Society of Echo. He is the past Chair of the American Society of Echo (ASE) Circulation and Vascular Ultrasound (CAVUS) Council. He is the founding editor and publisher of POCUSjournal.com. He is currently the Vice-President of the Canadian Society of Echocardiography.

His research focuses on the innovation of ultrasound-based techniques to enhance CV risk stratification. Current thematic areas include cardiopulmonary POCUS, CV screening of special populations such as women and indigenous peoples, analysis of vulnerable atherosclerotic carotid plaque through 3D, composition, and novel ultrasound contrast applications. He is the founder and director of the CINQ Lab which is currently pursuing collaborations in the areas of artificial intelligence for vascular analysis. The CINQ lab has formal research partnerships with several major industrial organizations and global networks.

Dr. Johri holds multiple CIHR grants as PI and is a Heart and Stroke Foundation clinician-scientist. He has over 200 peer-reviewed publications. He was chair of the ASE guideline for the assessment of carotid arterial plaque by ultrasound. He also chaired the recent ASE POCUS for COVID-19 Assessment statement. Dr. Johri is passionate about education and curates the podcast for the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography (JASE) and is an editorial board member. Sandra Taves Bhutto is currently a clinical instructor and pediatric sonographer, overseeing the ultrasound education of sonographers, residents, and fellows at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto. Sandra is passionate about how education can support innovation in ultrasound and healthcare to improve interprofessional reliability and diagnostic accuracy. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Medical Science in Medical Education at Harvard Medical School.
