Overview

Please join us for this exciting two-day virtual conference to explore the emerging paradigm of psychedelic psychotherapy.  The psychedelic renaissance is in full swing and now more than ever we need to carefully consider how to safely and ethically research and integrate this new paradigm into our healthcare system.

Together we will explore the history, the evidence, a clinical approach and how to integrate psychedelic experiences at multiple levels.  This interactive virtual CME conference will include ample time for questions and answers and includes break-out rooms to meet fellow attendees to digest the material together.  Together we will delve into the key issues facing the field today.  You are welcome to join us for one or both days.

Day 1, Friday, October 25th, 2024 - Psychedelic Psychotherapy: History, Clinical Approach and the Evidence

The first day of the conference will feature a variety of Canadian and International experts in the field of psychedelic psychotherapy.   Together we will explore the history of the field, how the therapy is delivered from preparation to integration and the current evidence base with a focus on risks and benefits.

Day 2 – Saturday, October 26th, 2026 - Integration: From Individual Healing to Collective Well-being

The second day of the conference will dive deep into the topic of integration, learning what can happen after people take psychedelics and how to best support them.  We will explore the neuroscience of the integration period in the brain and why support during this period is critical.  We will learn about integration challenges and tools, integration in groups and how to build resilient communities.  We will end by examining how the field is grappling with honouring the Indigenous roots of psychedelic medicine.

In-Person Evening Events

Please stay tuned here for more information on two in-person evening events for conference attendees in the Toronto area.  On the evening of Friday, October 25, 2024, we will be hosting a documentary film screening on psychedelic therapy. On the evening of Saturday, October 26th, 2024 there will be a social event.  More details coming shortly.
