Instructions and Information on Nominating an Organization
Step 1 - Submit a nomination- Click the Continue button below and select I I am nominating an organization for which I am not the primary contact on the next page.
- You will be required to provide contact information for yourself (nominator) and the organization.
- You will be required to tell us why this organization deserves an Immigrants of Distinction Award. Think of this as an endorsement – it can be brief or detailed, based on the story you wish to tell the Selection Committee.
- Once you have completed the form, click the Continue button and then be sure to review your submission and click the Submit button to finalize your nomination.
*If you do not see a thank you page your submission may not have gone through – please contact stephanieb@immigrantservicescalgary.ca if you are concerned that the submission did not go through.
Step 2 – Request for completed nomination package
- An email will be sent to the primary contact you indicate, to request additional information.

- Organizations may upload supporting documents to enhance the nomination package. These may be annual reports, photos, articles, awards or other materials that demonstrate their diversity programs.
