D.E. Systems' myConferenceSuite Registration System is responsible for personal information under its control. Collection of personal information by myConferenceSuite will be limited to what is necessary for the purposes of registration for the event.

When we use trusted third parties to act on our behalf by performing such functions as name badge production, processing credit card payments or providing customer service, contractual or other appropriate means are used to ensure compliance by such third parties with this Policy and all applicable privacy laws.

Personal information will not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those for which it was collected, to process the registration data to a given event.

We will keep your personal information as accurate, complete and up-to-date as necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used.

The Policy is subject to PIPEDA and/or any other applicable privacy laws and myConferenceSuite right to change it at any time.

GSAS Refunds and Cancellation Policy

Registration canceled before 8/4/25 are eligible for a refund of the registration fees paid minus a 75.00 processing fee. Registration canceled after 8/4/25 are no longer eligible for a refund. Registration substitution are welcome. Refunds will not be issued for events cancellation due to inclement weather.

COVID Statement

The 16th Annual Georgia School of Addiction Studies (GSAS) conference will be taking health and safety measures—for you, other attendees, exhibitors, and staff due to COVID-19. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the 2023 conference. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. I acknowledge that participation in the 2022 GSAS conference and activities brings some risk and I do hereby assume responsibility for my own well-being. I will follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, hotel guidelines, and all posted instructions while attending. I understand, agree, and hereby consent that my failure or disregard to follow all protocols in effect and required by GSAS, CDC, the venue provider, and governing authorities during my attendance at the conference is hereby sufficient grounds to be excluded from attending the conference, and I hereby consent in advance to leave and exit the event, without protest or refund, upon request by GSAS or an event authority due to my refusal to follow said protocols.
