Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

 

The Department of Supportive Care at the University Health Network is delighted to invite you to our inaugural Supportive Care Update Conference on May 9, 2024. This virtual event will include 10 new studies/topics from the last 12 months and will be shared through 40-minute virtual lectures. All updates will be education-focused, evidence-based, clinically applied, and relevant to those working and learning within supportive care.

All attendees will receive:
A digital book providing a high-level update summary that focuses on how evidence can be clinically applied. Access to all recorded lectures.

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize the current evidence supporting high quality serious illness clinical care.
  • Synthesize the clinical application of evidence supporting high quality serious illness clinical care.

  • Individuals/professionals with a higher education degree, certification or other accreditation in a recognized profession with involvement in or interest in supportive care (palliative care, psychosocial oncology, cancer rehabilitation & survivorship).
