Description:
As housing challenges grow in Canada and around the world, housing co-ops have a unique opportunity to both learn from and contribute to global solutions. With 2025 the International Year of Co-operatives, Erin Hancock from the International Centre for Co-operative Management at Saint Mary’s University will bring the latest and greatest stories of how co-operatives (housing and beyond) are building a better world. Rooftops Canada guests will share their international insights on community-led housing practices with real-life success stories from African partners. Participants will gain fresh ideas and learn how to make a difference by engaging with housing partners and the wider co-op sector worldwide.
