Join us as we officially kick off the 2025 Canadian Conference on Global Health with an evening of celebration and connection. The awards ceremony will honour this year's recipients of the Vic Neufeld Mentorship Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing their outstanding contributions to global health.

The evening will also feature a special performance by Wontanara Drum & Dance, a Halifax-based African dance and percussion company founded by Guinean master artist Mohamed André Duranteau. Wontanara, meaning "we are united" in the Susu language, brings the vibrant spirit of West African culture to life through powerful rhythms and movement, creating an inspiring celebration of unity, community, and culture.
