Description:

The aim of this workshop is to conclude the conference with a wrap-up discussion on emerging research directions that build from the presentations across the four conference themes:

  • Navigating Global Health Governance, Collaboration and Trust

  • Youth, Gender, and Inclusive Leadership in Global Health

  • Global Health Security: Threats, Climate, Outbreaks and Preparedness

  • Harnessing Innovation, Technology and Artificial Intelligence for Global Health

With the help of CCGH thematic coordinators and engagement of participants, this workshop will attempt to:

  • Take stock of key drivers of change, and threats or opportunities emerging from the conference thematic presentations

  • Summarize future research directions as articulated by presenters

  • Propose additional research topics that respond to the ‘changing world’ contexts.

Objectives:

  1. Identify future research directions that might inspire graduate student / faculty research and provide an opportunity for practitioners to suggest topics that they are grappling with.

  2. Explore implications of these changes for future research and partnerships.

  3. (to be discussed) Inform the development of post-conference publication.
