Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.


  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.


Tomosynthesis Workshop

This simulation workshop for Radiologists is designed to provide individual instruction in tomosynthesis interpretation while reviewing clinical tomosynthesis data sets with accompanying standard mammography. This workshop will feature a hands-on case review, interpretation and reporting at a DBT workstation.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Read and interpret digital breast tomosynthesis images
  2. Use a tomosynthesis workstation to interpret images
  3. Compare the findings of a 2D synthetic image with those of a DBT image

TARGET AUDIENCE: This workshop is designed for practicing radiologists with experience in day to day breast radiology. Prior experience in breast tomosynthesis is not a pre-requisite.

Keypad and Workstation Training on a training case set – 20 min

Case Review Set 1 - 40 min

Faculty lead review -20 min

Appearance of breast cancer on tomosynthesis – 20 min

Case Review Set 2- 40 min
