A generalist sonographers’ guide on how to improve obstetrical imaging of the fetal heart. There will be discussion on normal anatomy and an overview of normal variants. As well, a description of simple sonographic tips to help assess for pathologies versus normal variants. The main objective is to refresh knowledge and challenge sonographers to level up their skills when performing fetal anatomic scans, particularly of the fetal heart.
