CANCELLATION POLICY

Written notice must be provided to cancel registration from a course. Unless otherwise stated in our materials, the following policy applies.

If notice received:

• More than 4 weeks before the confirmed course date: First time change, no charge. Any subsequent changes will incur a fee of $75.00 per change.
• 2- 4 weeks before the confirmed course date, $150.00 admin fee will apply. (or if confirmed with COVID 14 days pre-course)
• Less than 2 weeks before the confirmed course date, or if registrant does not show up for the hands-on date (regardless of reason): No refunds or transfers.

Registrants, who fail to attend without providing proper notice, can register for a different day for a fee of $450.00 plus applicable taxes.

In the event CASTED is required to cancel a CASTED course at any time due to any reason, CASTED's liability is strictly limited to the registration fees paid by the registrant. A refund of the CASTED registration fees paid will be issued or a transfer of the full CASTED registration fee will be credited towards a future CASTED course.

All CASTED materials (including, but not limited to, the Recordings, course manuals, lectures, handouts, website content) are protected by copyright and may not be copied, duplicated, or distributed in any form (including photocopy, digital/electronic, etc), in whole or in part, without the express, written consent of CASTED.

No video or photography or other types of recording is permitted, during any part of the CASTED courses or of any of the on-line materials without the express, written consent of CASTED.

It is the responsibility of the treating physician/practitioner relying on his/her experience and the knowledge of the patient, to determine the best management plan for each patient. CASTED, CASTED faculty, North York General Hospital and any other agents involved in providing or presenting the CASTED course are not responsible for any errors, or omissions, or for any consequences from the application of information provided during the course and in its content (including its website), and shall have no liability whatsoever for any use and/or application, in any setting, in any manner, of any of the content or materials of the CASTED course by any CASTED course participant or any other individual. CASTED, the faculty, North York General Hospital and any other agents involved in providing the CASTED course, make no guarantee with respect to the completeness and accuracy of the contents within or the results to be achieved. Any use and/or application, in any setting, in any manner, of any of the content or materials of the CASTED course by any participant of the CASTED course or any other individual shall be at the sole and complete discretion of the said participant or individual.

Personal registrant information collected for the purposes of course registration will only be shared with North York General Hospital and agents of CASTED that are participants in the provision of that particular course. At no time is this information shared with any 3rd party organizations that are not directly involved with providing the course. Full details can be found on our privacy policy.

CASTED may take photographs, video and other recordings (collectively the “Recordings”) during the course and these may potentially be published and/or rebroadcast by CASTED in print and/or electronic format including the CASTED website. By participating in the CASTED course, you grant CASTED the irrevocable right to use the Recordings for such purposes. All Recordings become the property of CASTED and may displayed, distributed, rebroadcast or used by the CASTED at its sole discretion.
