Dr. Rebecca Major is a member of the Métis Nation of Ontario and an Assistant Professor at the University of Windsor. Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in Indigenous Public Policy from the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy. Additionally, she has a specialization in Indigenous Governance and Politics from the Political Studies Department at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Majorserved as Métis local president in the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan, followed by a successful election as the Area Representative for Western Region IIA (Saskatoon Region) for the Métis Nation-Saskatchewan.
