Currently the Landrex Distinguished Professor in Women and Gender Studies at the University of Alberta, Professor Gotell (PhD Political Science, York) has published widely in the area of gender, sexuality and law, including works on Charter equality litigation, obscenity law and sexual orientation jurisprudence. Much of her recent research concerns the legal regulation of sexual violence.
