Event Description

Transport Canada is excited to host the annual Pacific Dialogue Forum, with both virtual and in-person components. Registration is now open for the Virtual Initiative Spotlights held between September and March. Information on in-person events will be shared later this fall.

Starting September 18, 2025, we are spotlighting a new initiative every Thursday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM PT. The Spotlights will provide updates on OPP and related initiatives to an audience that includes: First Nations, coastal communities, marine industry, non-governmental organizations, academia, and different levels of government.

The Initiative Spotlights will be held on MS Teams. This is your chance to learn and ask questions about the work the federal government and others are doing on oceans protection and marine transportation on the Pacific coast. You will be able to raise your hand, unmute, and come on camera during Q&A periods.
