Firefox

  1. In the FireFox address bar, type about:config.

Internet Explorer

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, then click the Security tab.
  2. Click the Internet Zone.
  3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level. Then do step 4.
  4. If you have to customize your Internet security settings, follow these steps:
    a. Click Custom Level.
    b. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
  5. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.

Chrome

  1. In the Chrome address bar, type chrome://settings/content/javascript.
  2. Adjust the toggle so that javascript is allowed.
  3. Close the Settings tab and Refresh the page.

    CMHC's Rental Assistance Program (FCHI-2) has introduced a new requirement - submitting an Action Plan every three years. Co-ops are using these Action Plans to set goals that will improve their own long0term operational practices while helping to strengthen the co-op housing sector. Discuss the five different focus areas where co-ops can set goals: governance, social inclusion, financial viability, asset management and sustainability.

    Making Democracy Work at Your Co-op: Engaged Elections with Caroline Chapman

    Every co-op needs a good Board of Directors - a Board that makes wise decisions, represents the members, gives strong leadership, and inspires the confidence of the members. A good election process can't guarantee the co-op a good board, but it can improve the odds. Good elections require planning and hard work. This is double true under the new election rules for housing co-ops.
