Dr. Carolyn Flegg

Bio

Dr. Carolyn Flegg received her medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Following her radiology residency training at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, she completed a fellowship in Oncology Imaging through McMaster University at the Henderson Hospital site in Hamilton, Ontario. In 2007, after working at the Henderson Hospital for a year following her fellowship, Dr. Flegg returned home to Saskatchewan, where she joined Associated Radiologists LLP in Saskatoon. While her practice encompasses all areas of general diagnostic radiology, the majority of her time is devoted to breast imaging. She has been serving as the Medical Director of the Irene and Les Dube Centre of Care / Breast Health Centre at Saskatoon City Hospital for over 10 years. In 2009 and 2010, Dr. Flegg served as the Clinical Head for the Department of Medical Imaging of the Saskatoon Health Region. She joined the Board of Directors for the Canadian Association of Radiologists in May 2015, and has served as the Board Meetings Chair since 2017. Married for nearly 25 years, she spends her free time with her husband. They enjoy traveling, hiking, BBC crime dramas and spending time with extended family.
