Strengthening the Bridge Between Health Workforce and Education
Summary:
This workshop aims to foster collaboration between the health workforce planning and education sectors, two communities now beginning to align their efforts. Participants will explore each other's priorities, challenges, and perspectives to build mutual understanding. Through guided dialogue and exploration, the session will lay the foundation for shared approaches to support long-term, integrated workforce and education solutions.
Objectives:
- To establish a shared understanding of challenges and opportunities at the intersection of health workforce planning and education.
- To build bridges among government planners, the education sector, employers, healthcare workers, regulators, students and new graduates to support system wide-solutions.
- To generate ideas and approaches for addressing system complexity through governance, collaboration, data sharing, and innovation.
