Retention: Small Changes, Big Impact
Wednesday October 30th, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm ET
Format: In-Person and Virtual
Healthcare Excellence Canada has been actively involved in various programs aimed at addressing health workforce retention. Our efforts have focused on learning from diverse experiences and promoting practical solutions that make a real difference. We have worked with teams from Northern, rural, remote and urban settings, and we have been inspired by them all.
Join us for an insightful workshop where members of the health workforce will come together to share and discover promising practices. We'll explore how seemingly small changes can have a significant impact on retention, and why the way interventions are implemented often matters more than the specific strategies themselves.
Through engaging discussions and real-world examples, you'll gain valuable insights into effective retention techniques that you can tailor to your unique context.
Objectives
- Identify Successful Strategies: Learn from teams who have effectively addressed the health workforce retention issue and understand the key factors behind their success.
- Understand Implementation Dynamics: Explore the importance of the “how” in retention improvement, and why the approach to implementing interventions can be more critical than the interventions themselves.
- Tailor Solutions to Your Context: Gain insights into adaptable retention strategies and determine what might work best in your specific environment.
