This workshop is for co-ops that operate under the Housing Services Act (HSA) with a municipal service manager as regulator. HSA co-ops will reach the end of their mortgage (EOM) within the next ten years. What happens then? Unlike federal-program co-ops, there is no agreement that ends. We’ll attempt to clarify the rules in the HSA and potential changes that would take effect when your co-op’s mortgage ends. And we’ll give you some tips on how to begin preparing for the end of your co-op’s mortgage.
