This workshop will introduce housing co-ops to CMHC’s new rental assistance program which began September 1, 2020. This workshop is directed towards federally funded co-ops whose operating agreements have ended or will be ending soon. Focus areas include:

• Your co-op’s enrolment in the rental assistance program
• Household eligibility, reporting rules and calculations of subsidy
• Overview of frequently asked questions about the rental assistance program
