This nursing leadership hive is open to all those interested and involved in child health, and will be of particular interest to paediatric nurses. Attendees will learn more about the role and expertise of the federal Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), gaining insight into how this role highlights and elevates the voice of all of Canada’s nurses. There will be an exploration of the themes, goals and initiatives identified in the newly released “Nursing Retention Toolkit: Improving the Working Lives of Nurses in Canada”. Rebecca Earle (CAPN President) will moderate a fireside chat with Dr. Leigh Chapman (CNO Health Canada), giving participants an opportunity for questions, dialogue and discussion about the concerns identified by paediatric nurses across the country. Everyone is welcome to stay for the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Association of Paediatric Nurses (CAPN). All CAPN members are required to register (Google Form link on poster) in order to vote in the election of the 2024 Executive and on proposed changes to the constitution and bylaws.
