Transitions Pop-Up

The STUDENT category applies to individuals who are enrolled in a program at the baccalaureate level, or higher. Proof of status is needed for full-time students, trainees, and residents. Student registration will not be considered until proof of status has been received. To qualify for the student rate, you must submit a copy of your student card, a transcript or a letter from your supervisor or Dean to conference@childrenshealthcarecanada.ca. An approval code will then be provided to you in order to complete your registration process.

In order to ensure a broad representation at the Transition Pop-Up Event, we will be providing up to $1000 to support the in-person attendance of community members (to a maximum of $10,000 total). Priority for awards will be given to youth/individuals with special healthcare needs and parents/caregivers. Applications for funding will be accepted until October 31, 2023 and those receiving support will be notified by November 6th, 2023. To apply, click HERE.

Join us at the beautiful Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art to celebrate excellence in children's healthcare. This special reception is the perfect opportunity to catch up with familiar faces in the healthcare community while admiring breathtaking artwork. Enjoy world-class entertainment and indulge in a variety of hot and cold food stations and passed hors d'oeuvres throughout the night. Come hungry and enjoy the festivities! Please note, tickets are limited and can be purchased for $100 during registration. The dress code is cocktail attire, so dress to impress.

Our Welcome Reception is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with other attendees, speakers, and sponsors of the conference. It’s also a chance to relax and unwind after a great first day of learning and networking. The reception will take place on the 34th floor at the Hyatt Regency, where attendees will be surrounded by beautiful panoramic views of the city of Vancouver. Attendees will also be treated to a delicious selection of hors d’oeuvres and drinks, including wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
