This study investigated medical radiation technologists' (radiation therapists) perception of weight bias in their practice. Studies highlight that healthcare providers have a negative bias to large-bodied patients, resulting in discrimination, avoidance, and negative health outcomes for this patient population. There is limited data about radiation therapists and weight bias, therefore, understanding their perceptions of large-bodied patients is important to address weight stigma in radiation therapy.
