This education session provides an introductory overview of Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LiRADS).

Objectives:

  • Understand the importance of the LI-RADS in standardizing terminology, and interpretation for liver observations of patients with high risk for HCC.
  • Explore and discuss the roles of technologists in implementing LI-RADS guidelines within their respective imaging modalities (ultrasound, CT, and MRI) to enhance the accuracy and consistency of liver observations in patients at risk for HCC.
  • Gain insights on the indicators and characteristics that radiologists seek when interpreting liver images with LIRADS.
  • Discuss the significance of LI-RADS in liver imaging and interpretation and its role in improving patient care and outcomes.

This session will be 40 minutes, with 10 minutes of Q&A
