This presentation will focus on the emerging integration of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) into radiation therapy (RT) practice and the implications on training/education and models of care.

Objectives:

• By the end of the presentation, delegates will be able to:
• Explain the value of integrating MRI into radiation therapy
• Describe the models of care for operating an MRI simulator and integrated MRI-linear accelerator
• Compare the educational pathways available to RTTs to safely and effectively integrate MRI in to RT practice
